Saito Hitohiro Sensei is the son of Morihiro Saito Shihan. He began his Aikido studies at age seven under O’Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of aikido, who cared for him as a grandson. Sensei became an official instructor of the Iwama dojo in 1986 and remained so until he founded his own association in 2004, the Iwama Shin Shin Aiki Shuren Kai. As Soke, he has an international following of students that are motivated by his powerful Aikido and precise instruction. This seminar will be the first international seminar at the new Aikido in Fredericksburg Hickory Ridge dojo -- a 102 mat “green” building designed in harmony with nature for disseminating the traditional art of Aikido in the modern world.
